Which Safari Is Right for You?

Choose the 7-Day Classic Safari if…

It’s your first safari, you want all the highlights without overspending, you have one week of vacation, or you’re traveling with kids. This is the most-booked itinerary for a reason — it covers everything most people imagine when they picture an African safari.

Choose the 10-Day Safari + Zanzibar if…

You’re flying a long way and want to make the trip count. Honeymoons, milestone anniversaries, or anyone who wants to balance the intensity of safari with downtime on a beach. The Zanzibar half is genuinely restful — not a tacked-on day trip.

Choose the Great Migration Photographic Safari if…

Photography is the point of the trip, you’ve safaried before and want something specialized, or you’re specifically chasing the wildebeest migration. The private vehicle and photo-focused guide make the difference between snapshots and the images you’ll actually print and frame.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I customize these itineraries?

Yes. These are starting points — every booking gets adjusted for accommodation level, group size, dates, and any add-ons (Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar, Lake Manyara, gorilla trekking in Rwanda or Uganda, etc.).

What’s included in the price?

Accommodation, all meals on safari, all park and conservation fees, ground transport in a private 4×4, your guide, and airport transfers. International flights, visas, tips, and personal items are not included.

When should I book?

For high season (June–October and Christmas), 8–12 months in advance. For shoulder season (March–May, November), 4–6 months is usually fine. The Migration Photographic Safari books out earliest because the small camps near the herds have limited capacity.

Is Tanzania safe for tourists?

Yes. Tanzania is one of the most stable countries in East Africa and tourism is a core part of the economy. The northern safari circuit is particularly well-traveled and infrastructure is solid. We brief every guest on basic precautions before arrival.

What’s your cancellation policy?

A 25% deposit secures your booking. Full refunds are available up to 60 days before the trip; partial refunds up to 30 days. Closer to departure, refunds depend on lodge policies — we’re transparent about what’s recoverable when we quote.
